A Federal Firearms License Transfer (also called an FFL Transfer) is necessary when you wish to purchase a firearm from another FFL gun shop, FFL gun range, FFL pawn shop, FFL sporting goods store, FFL Online Store or a private individual and have it shipped to our store for pickup. Our FFL Transfer Fee is $35.00 per firearm. Please allow us processing time of 24 hours from the day your firearm is delivered to our store for your firearm to be received, processed, and logged in our books before we contact you for pickup.
You will need to complete an ATF Form 4473 for the necessary background check when you come to pick up your firearm from us. We will require a valid form of government issued I.D. upon pick up of all firearm transfers. Your correct legal name and current address is required by law to be on the government issued I.D. you present to pick up your firearm. Only the person whose name is on the transferred firearm’s paperwork can legally pick up the firearm. You must be the original purchaser of the firearm in order to pick up the firearm.
If your firearm is being sent from a Private Individual, we must have a valid Drivers License of the sender, sent with the firearm to process the item into our books. If this is not included with the shipment, additional delays and processing time will be necessary.
Failure to accept transfer after 90 Days from the delivery date at our store, without prior notice or arrangement, will result in forfeiture of the firearm to Ally Outdoors.
Note: Ally Outdoors receives numerous large shipments from multiple carriers every single day. We do our best to prioritize transfers and process them as quickly as possible. Even with several full time employees dedicated to the task, it can sometimes take us 24 hours to unpack and document your firearms. We will contact you when your item is ready for pickup! We know you’re excited for your new firearm (as are we), but please wait until the next business day before calling so we can focus all of our attention on receiving your items!
